So, don’t get too caught up in the name. “No Days Off” is a mindset. I don’t literally suggest never taking a rest day…..per se. The motto “Move Every Day” reminds us that a rest day doesn’t have to involve a couch, a beer, pizza, and an entire sleeve of Girl Scout cookies when you promised yourself you’d only eat two.
Rest days can involve yoga, a little morning jog, stretching and mobility training, walking the pupper…the list goes on. Going HAM at the gym 7 days a week will most likely lead to problems at some point, but exercise comes in many forms, and there’s no reason why we can’t modify that “rest” day by retraining the way we think, and turning it into a day where we still continue to MOVE!
Why No Days Off Fitness Exists
After many Instagram Posts of my workouts and stunts, friends of mine that either didn’t have time to make it to the gym where I train, or who live out of state, would either ask for some kettlebell workout tips, or just generally comment how they wish they could train with me. This website is my solution for them…and you! Great workouts you can use at home, at the gym, and anywhere else a kettlebell and a few feet of space are available.
Who is The Guy in the Photos?
That would be me, Mike Shuck, 5th grade teacher, former American Ninja Warrior competitor, trainer at the very best kettlebell/unconventional gym in Pittsburgh, (Pittsburgh Kettlebell and Performance) and overall exercise enthusiast.
I’m just a dude trying to fight Father Time and want to always feel comfortable saying “I’m in the best shape of my life right now!” (Because, let’s be honest, even though I’m better off than the average guy in his late thirties, a younger version of myself may dispute the aforementioned comment.) Nonetheless, I strive to be the best “me” I can be right now — and I want to help YOU do the same!
